BUGABOO BLAST – AUGUST 29th TO SEPTEMBER 1st
The BC Sporting Clays Provincial championship and the Radium Bugaboo Blast competition will be held Aug 29 to Sep 1 at the Lake Windermere District Rod & Gun Club, near Radium Hot Springs.

Thursday Aug 29
Practice day. The Radium Field Sporting [RFS] course will be open with 6 “parcours”, 120 targets total with an option to shoot only a designated 60 targets in 3 parcours if you so choose. European rotation, meaning shoot at the time of your choosing provided there is an open station to start on. No lunch, no prizes. RFS has 1-shot singles, 2-shot singles, pairs and X-birds in the repertoire all of which makes for interesting presentations and a fun event.
Friday Aug 30
Team event, Radium Field Sporting, 6 parcours, 120 targets. Teams consist of 4 to 6 shooters with only the top four scores counting. Handicaps will apply to even the competition. Using only the top 4 scores for the teams, the RFS format and the application of handicaps makes the event suitable for all levels of shooters. Cash prizes to the winning team.
Saturday Aug 31 – Sun, Sep 1
Concurrent BC Provincials [BCP] which will be registered and Bugaboo Blast [BB] which is not registered. Sporting clays format, 100 targets in AM, 120 in PM, 120 targets Sunday AM. Extra cost of $20 to register scores. Kootenay Kash in play all 3 sessions. Cash prizes based on 2 day total score. Lunch each day, optional dinner on Saturday evening.
