Scholarships

For each of the past several years the Club has provided a scholarship to a member of the graduating class for the best essay on a topic related to wildlife, conservation and/or the environment. Details will be made available at David Thompson Secondary School for this years $1000 scholarship.

Children and Novice Archery Instruction

DSCF1372 (800x597)Our next indoor archery evening will be Wednesday, the 7th of January 2015 at the Invermere Community Hall from 7PM till 9PM and continue on until the 25th of March.   Club bows are on hand for those that do not have their own equipment. Tuesday evenings. January the 6th until March 31st 2015 The Lake Windermere District Rod & Gun Club will be holding our marksmanship and firearm safety sessions at the Invermere Community Hall. From 7PM until 9PM youth from 5 to 15 years in age will be taught how to safely handle a gun and proper shooting skills. This educational and fun event is offered to all Valley youth at no charge.
